Trump Officials Caught Defying Court Order, Weaponizing DHS to Choke Off the Vote
Whistleblower Exposes Secret Postal Scheme to Gut Mail Ballots as Homeland Security Launches Bogus Fraud Surge
WASHINGTON, DC — Donald Trump’s government is racing to sabotage the vote on two fronts at once. A whistleblower report filed with Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT)’s office reveals the Postal Service is secretly rushing a “risky and haphazard” digital system into place in open defiance of a federal court order blocking Trump’s mail-ballot takeover — a scheme that could leave millions of Americans without a ballot this fall. At the same time, Homeland Security is launching a new surge of “voter fraud” investigations targeting select states, pressuring officials to hand over voter rolls under threat of losing federal funding.
The courts reviewing Trump’s mail-ballot order have pushed back. Every “fraud” claim his administration touts falls apart on inspection. None of that is stopping him from ordering federal agencies to do it anyway.
“Trump’s government is defying a federal judge to gut mail voting, and in the same breath, he’s got Homeland Security cooking up fake fraud probes to scare Americans away from the ballot box. Call it what it is: sabotage dressed up as security. Trump knows he can’t win a fair fight, so he’s ordering federal agencies to do what the courts and the Constitution already told him no on. Millions of Americans vote by mail because it’s safe, secure, and simple, and no half-baked plan to disenfranchise them is going to change that,” said Abhi Rahman, Try And Stop Us Spokesperson.
