Trump is Full of Shit: Votes By Mail (Again) After Spending Years Calling It “Inherently Corrupt”

WASHINGTON, DC — Donald Trump just did exactly what every eligible voter should have the option to do — cast a vote by mail, which has been proven over and over again to be a sound, safe, and secure way to participate in the democratic process. He mailed in his own ballot for Florida’s Republican primary this month, just like he has for years.

But Trump – and his entire government – want to deny that same opportunity to everyone else. Not because he truly believes voting by mail is insecure or riddled with fraud. He has called it “inherently corrupt” and pushed Congress to gut it in the SAVE America Act, but he doesn’t believe a word of it. He’s using the system himself right now. He wants to take it away from other voters because he’s among the most unpopular presidents in a hundred years and neither he or his party can win this year’s election without rigging the game in their favor.
